Careers Cost Accountant Our client a manufacturing company in Burlington, Ontario has an immediate need for a Cost Accountant. Duties include: monitoring unit cost variance, implementing cost standards for materials and labor, preparing cost of good sold and production reports, reconciling beginning raw materials, work-in-progress and finished goods stock. QUALIFiCATIONS Candidates must possess solid organizational, communication, and problem solving and research abilities. Must also have strong technology expertise, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience with an ERP system or other accounting system. BS in Accounting or Finance or 3rd level CMA s required as well as 2+ years experience in manufacturing accounting.
