 Maintenance Supervisor

Excellent opportunity with an international auto parts manufacturer. The position is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the plant facility, production and processing equipment, and coordination of maintenance activities.​ It requires an individual with positive people skills with excellent supervisory skills.

The Position 

Direct planning and scheduling of all maintenance projects
Supervise department and ensure production goals are met
Oversee maintenance technicians, mechanics, and electricians
Observe and correct unsafe acts and conditions
Conduct periodic safety inspection of production area and equipment
Ensure all equipment are working properly, checked, and documented daily.
Investigate all accidents and ensure action is taken

Qualifications 

  • Qualified candidates will have 10-20 years of related experience, a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience.
  • Working experience with the CAW.
  • Previous supervisory experience in automotive parts manufacturing.
  • Excellent employee relations skills.
  • Knowledge of Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, JIT, 5 S,
  • Knowledge of Mig and Tig welding., PLCs. etc.
  • Licensed tradesperson (millwright, electrician, toolmaker, etc.

 SALARY: $75-80k
