Production Supervisor

Our client , a global automotive parts manufacturer, requires a Production Supervisor.

The responsibilities of the position include:

• Ensure safety and efficient operation of all employees and their machines
• Eensure all employees produce on schedule to satisfy customers investigate problems for root cause
• Implement 5 S, Lean Manufacturing, JIT, corrective action plans

 QUALIFICATIONS  

Qualified candidates will have 5 years of related experience, with 3-5 years supervisory experience. They must demonstrate experience in manufacturing activities, including Quality, Materials, and Production and union management.

• Previous supervisory experience in automotive parts manufacturing.
• Excellent employee relations skills and experience working in a unionized facility, preferably CAW..
• Knowledge of Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, JIT, 5 S, etc.
• Knowledge of mig and tig welding.

SALARY: 60-65k

LOCATION: Brampton
